What happened

Thirty-five minutes.
Nobody left.

October 2, 2025. Day two of Token2049 Singapore, 3:40 PM, the BingX Labs Stage at Marina Bay Sands. T.J. Miller held nothing back. Jarred Winn held the podium. Justin Sun — billionaire, space tourist, owner of a $6.2 million banana — took the chair.

The room filled past capacity before the cold open. Attendees stood along the walls, then filled the hallway outside, listening through the doors. Miller worked the target for half an hour while Sun laughed at every shot — and then, per the format's one sacred rule, Sun took the microphone and got the last word.

By that evening the roastee had posted his thanks and publicly nominated the next target. The conference called it the best-received session of the program and invited TokenRoast back as a recurring property. Edition II is set for October 2026.

The material

Two shots,
for the record.

“Bill Gates would lose money if he bent over to pick up a $100 bill. Justin Sun would lose money if he came through on any of his promises.”

— T.J. Miller

“Justin, seeing you here today, I had no idea you were short. While it's rare to see a short crypto founder, we all always knew you weren't long.”

— Jarred Winn · the roastee's own favorite — he said so after the show

The tape

Edition I was captured by the venue and the crowd. From Edition II forward, TokenRoast runs its own multi-camera capture — the clip library is the franchise.
